ESA's fourth Automated Transfer Vehicle, Albert Einstein,
completed a flawless rendezvous with the International Space Station on
15 June when it docked smoothly with orbital outpost at 14:07 GMT (16:07
CEST).
ESA's fourth Automated Transfer Vehicle, ATV Albert Einstein,
has conducted an autonomous docking with the International Space
Station. The vessel is delivering scientific experiments, vital supplies
and fuel to the astronauts.
The 20-tonne vessel navigated itself using
GPS signals and, in the final 250m before contact, via laser signals
reflected from the aft end of the Zvezda ISS module.
